OUR FIRST SEMESTER INCLUDES:
Understanding what the 10 commandments mean
Reviewing the times tables, counting in the millions
Reading chapter books; doing activities related to reader stories
Learning about nouns, verbs, adjectives, and writing stories
Researching family heritage

Fouthe graders made their first of many jounnal entries right after Christmas break.
All fourth graders are working on an Illinois project.
YOUNG AUTHORS is coming up, and fourth graders are invited to take part in that.
Each month beginning in January, fourth graders are doing a book report.
Field trips are planned for March and April this spring, in March we'll be going to Ag Days to learn about agriculture in our lives, and in April we will go the Elgin Planetarium to study heavenly bodies.
