First Grade
Mrs. Hansen's First Grade Class of 2012!!
We are galloping off!
Please remember to keep reading each day. Every day in class we will read and write. We are working on reviewing beginning and ending sounds, vowel sounds and parts of a sentence. Addition and subtraction are the facts to know for first grade.
In Science, we are learning about the animal habitats, weather, and seasons. In Social Studies we learn about Martin Luthur King Jr., community service workers and occupations, and winter.
Here are some important dates to remember:
January 21 Camp Frost
January 24 -- First Grade helps cantor and do readings at mass
January 29-February 4 Catholic Schools Week
April 17 -- we help at mass again
